We spent our wedding anniversary in Jasper National Park at the end of August. On our last day, we took a trip up to Patricia Lake not far away from the Jasper town site to explore the walking paths around the lake. The lighting was just right to capture this scenic shot of the boats parked for the end of the season.

Went on a business trip to Pensacola and we stayed on the beach front. The waters at Pensacola Beach were crystal clear, despite going through the BP oil well disaster only a few months ago. The cleanup crew did a great job of restoring the beach for the tourists.

The leaves look like a maple leaf, but is missing 2 addition points. Not sure what tree this is but we love it.

This is our favorite tree because it is so boring and green in the summer, but come fall the leaves turn slightly orange and they go into a deep red.

Lakes just 5 minutes outside of Banff town to capture some nice sunset. Took us several attempts to get this shot, but in the end it still isn’t what we wanted. Oh well … better luck next time.
