Another gas station tonight for today’s photo. I actually got my ass out of the car this time to capture this moment.

This post marks the 100th post for Project 365. This was taken late on Halloween night when we saw this dickhead characters chasing a girl down the street.

I think a UFO crash landed in the Citadel Theatre and the coverup has begun with city planted vegetation to make it look like art.

Waterfall with the briday veil effect. However, even at 6 seconds exposure, I couldn’t achieve the effect I wanted. But nevertheless, it is still a cool picture taken inside the Citadel Theatre.

This is what it looks like when you drive at 90km/h and try to take a photo by resting my camera on the dash. I think it looks cool. LOL. I believe this was somewhere around 82 Street on the Yellowhead Trail.

Yesterday’s photo was taken late at night … VERY LATE. I went out at 11pm and caught this picture at nearly midnight and considering I had to wake up for work at 6am the next day, I went straight to bed instead of posting it here. The Matrix Hotel is a very sexy upscale hotel in Edmonton and its bright red colors are an attraction for local photographers. Hope you like it.

This construction digger is sitting at the end of 153 Avenue in Edmonton. My guess is that it will be digging a trench to lay down some storm drain plumbing prior to completing the extension of 153 Avenue to 142 Street. This is a 3-shot HDR and then stitched in PhotoMatrix and finally post-processed in Photoshop.

We went to the Edmonton Fringe festival yesterday. Lots of colors, lots of sounds, lots of unique captures. I will post the pictures in the order they were snapped.

Edmontonions would know that this is a shot of the Santa Maria at West Edmonton Mall (formerly the largest mall in the world). I have attempted this shot many times in the past, always resulting in blown out roofline or just dull/muted colors. So this time I went out with a vengence and did a high dynamic range image. I am extremely thrilled by the output of the HDR and it has to be my favorite HDR of all time.
