This is an art piece by Peter Field back in the early 90′s (please correct me) to celebrate the First Night Festival to chime in the new year with a grand celebration and fireworks. The piece can be found at the south entrance to the Churchill LRT station in downtown Edmonton.

This was shot at the Churchill LRT Station on the way home from work. Thought the contrast between my shoes and the brown tiles was interesting.
I sharpened and lowered the saturation of the image during post-processing.
