This is the Knox Church on Calgary Trail South and north of Whyte Avenue. There was a small window of opportunity when there was no Fringe goers to ruin the scene. Don’t mind the blue garbage bin; it adds character.
This is an HDR shot and post-processed in Photoshop for midtone and highlight adjustment.

Take a stroll down Europa Boulevard and let your mind wander. Imagine yourself on a European adventure as you take in the sites along the unique and beautiful street, fashioned after those found in various European cities. You’ll find incredible fashion by some of the world’s best designers in the several boutiques and specialty stores on the boulevard. Be sure to stop in at the cafĂ© on the corner. Sit on the patio and watch the people go by, just like you would in Paris!

Edmontonions would know that this is a shot of the Santa Maria at West Edmonton Mall (formerly the largest mall in the world). I have attempted this shot many times in the past, always resulting in blown out roofline or just dull/muted colors. So this time I went out with a vengence and did a high dynamic range image. I am extremely thrilled by the output of the HDR and it has to be my favorite HDR of all time.

This is the inaugural post for project 365. This photo of a fully-restored pickup truck was taken at Red Deer where we went for a family reunion. This was a 3-shot HDR and then post-processed in Photoshop for a vintage color curve and a mild fake vignetting.
