Another parkade?

Holy cow … I didn’t know that Edmonton went on a mad architecture spree of building spiraling parkade ramps. This is the 3rd one I found in this city all within 3 blocks of each other. This one was shot at midnight and before I left the scene, I took a shot of the Baccarat Casino with a view of the old CN tower building in the background and construction cranes of the new EPCOR tower being build. Take note, this casino may become part of Edmonton history if it is demolished to make way for the new hockey arena being proposed.

How about another urban shot of another spiraling parkade in downtown Edmonton. But wait … this one is different because it is an ABANDONED parkade. Oh and might I add that the little white dot in the top middle of the frame is the moon. This shot was taken at around 7AM. *yawn*

Taken with my Tamron 17-50mm lens, nothing special was done here except making it black and white. Enjoy!

Wow, I got my photo at 10am without even think about it. This is the City Center East parkade in downtown Edmonton. I went to the 10th floor and shot down the middle where motorcycles park on the bottom floor. I played with the hue of the photo to make the picture feel colder as it wasn’t a very pretty day today.
